If you're wanting to know more about FotL You're in the correct place-

Tribe Ability Power (AP)

Gaining a lot of AP will make your characters Abilities level up, by how much you submit drawings of your character. strength of your character's abilities are calculated in AP.

If it is an assignment,  it gets the score below +10 AP!
Ex: Boz does a fully colored without a back ground. That is 3 AP +10 for it being an assignment.

Art Submissions:

- Sketches = 1AP
- Colored Sketches / Lineart = 2AP
- Fully colored, simple or no background = 3AP
- Fully colored, detailed background/scenery = 4AP
+1 AP for each additional Character

Writing Submissions:

-500 words= +3 AP
-Every 500 words after gains +1 AP
(This applies to RPs submitted as deviations.)

Comic Pages:

- Sketched = 3AP
- Inked (w/ or w/o shading) = 4AP
- Fully colored, no shading, very simple backgrounds = 6AP
- Fully colored, shading w/ detailed scenic backgrounds = 8AP

Animations:

-For every 12 frames of animation, you receive +6 AP
-+10 AP for 12 COLORED frames
-+10+4 AP for backgrounds added to color

To spend your AP, go to: fate-of-the-land.deviantart.co…

Assignment Submissions:

- Submissions for Tribe assignments receive +10AP points plus whatever the normal points total would be.

For example, say you drew a fully colored picture with a detailed background for a mission assignment. I would receive 4AP for the image and 10AP for it being mission related, giving my cat and my tribe +14AP! Same goes for written assignments and comic pages.

To earn the full AP amounts for assignments, the picture MUST feature your character. However, for non-assignment submissions, you can earn AP by drawing other artist's character too.

For those wanting to finish their assignments via comic pages, you only gain the +10AP once! All other comic pages gain the same amount of AP as if they were normal submissions even though they are still part of the same assignment.

Whats Does AP Do Exactly?

Ability Points determine how fit your cat and Tribe is in comparison to other Tribes and their felines.

- Character Ability Points: AP can be used to upgrades your character's abilities, such as leveling them up to be stronger. AP  can also be used to upgrades your armor, you can add more to your armor by taking away some of your points. So think of AP as money and abilities and other things as things to buy with it, or you can just accumulate it as you go.

- Tribe Ability Points: are points collected by all cats of a single Tribe and are used to determine how strong one Tribe is compared to the others. Character AP from all cats in one tribe are added together to get Tribe AP!

Characters Can Die!

How do I keep my character from dying?

:new:As of recently, we've created a rule about death strikes. For assignments or checks, people with 3 or more characters only need to do HALF of their assignments. [Round up!] This was put into affect in order to still allow people to make a lot of characters and still be able to keep them. If you only get one or two of the assignments done, you can choose which character gets a death strike.
-3-4 characters = 2 Submissions
-5-6 characters = 3 submissions
-7-8 characters = 4 Submissions

:new:-If you are inactive, there is a chance you will get a death strike. We try our best to call to your attention any assignments, but if you are having a hard time being active, do let us know. We will absolutely work with you so you and your character don't have to suffer!

Submit often and get AP!

:new:- Characters that miss a assignment will be considered inactive and are given a "death strike"!
